It is unclear as to where this book fits in terms of
series. 1893 is shown on the title page. In 1893 however there are no
suede soft leather books listed in any Altemus catalogues or
advertisements. There were two series in 1893 both of which have Sartor
Resartus in their lists. Those series are the Altemus Library (#37) and the Laurel Series(#119).
Perhaps one of these two series did a print run of suede covered books.
More books with similar covers published in 1893 will need to be found
to make a further determination.
