Henry Altemus Company Format: 1 Volumes: 1 - 10
Half vellum with illuminated pictorial picture on the right side in gold and colors. The picture is different for each book.
Brown uncoated dust jacket has rectangular design on the front cover which has inside of it the name of the series, book number, title of the book and author. 7.5 x 5.5.
Series Notes:
1. This series was published until 1908. In 1909 the books became numbers 16-25 in the Dainty Series. All that changed after the conversion was the dust jacket which identified the books as part of the Dainty Series. The book covers are unchanged from series to series. |

Advertising Flyer
This 6 x 3.25 inch one page advertising flyer for the Rose Carnation Series was discovered in the Little Lady Val book (#4). This flyer dates from 1906-1908. It is my belief that Altemus produced flyers for all of their series of this era. They are just very difficult to find.
