Series Notes:
1. This series initially was called Popular
Series of Famous Authors when it was first published in 1893.
2. Books #1-7 were first published in 1893. Books #8-11 were published in 1894.
3. All eleven titles were reprinted in this format at least until 1896.
4. There is only one format but earlier books list 32 volumes for the
Altemus Library in the ads in the back. Later books list 41 titles in
the Altemus Library. |
