Reality:
The seller is advertising a Young People's Library version of this book. Not the scarcer non-series version. And the price is way out of line.
Vic was published in a number of different series by Altemus. In 1892 the non series version was published. The book described by this seller is one that is part of the Young People's Library. Even without a picture it is obvious.
1. Henry Altemus Company is the publisher indicating a post-1900 date.
2. The cover picture described is the one seen on the Young People's Library books.
3. The earlier version did not have 14 pages of ads.
The earlier non series Vic is above on the left with the Young People's Library Vic on the right.
The price of 100 Euros is steep for even the non series Vic. Extraordinarily high for the YPL Vic.
