This book was first published in 1903 by the Henry Altemus Company in 1903. Two non series hard cover editions were published between 1903 and 1908. Beginning in 1909 this title appeared in the Jester Life Series.

Today I am adding another second edition non series book cover picture. This edition has a stereotyped left half cover design. The right half of the cover has various decorative patterns. With this cover the database has five different second edition covers.

Platt and Munk reprinted a number of Wee Books beginning in 1935. These books were published as separate volumes as well as boxed sets. By 1938 the four volume boxed sets were being published. This gave way to three volume boxed sets beginning in 1942.
