Goldsmith reprinted
three Henry Altemus Company Series in the early 1940's.
1. Grace Harlowe High School Series
2. Perry Pierce Mystery Series
3. Doris Force Series for Girls
1. Grace Harlowe High School Series included the
four volumes which followed Grace's adventures through high school.
-Grace Harlowe's Plebe Year at High School
-Grace Harlowes's Sophomore Year at High School
-Grace Harlowe's Junior Year at High School

The Goldsmith books have a new jacket and a book cover as compared to
the original Altemus publications (http://henryaltemus.com/series/series19.htm)
and the M. A. Donohue Company reprints. Goldsmith only published this
series in one format. The Goldsmith books have no illustrations.
All four books have the same dust jacket. The covers of the books are
also the same with the exception of the cover's color. The books are
8.25 x 5.5. This is slightly larger than the Donohue reprints.
2. Perry
Pierce Mystery Series by Clinton Locke (pseudonym) was
reprinted by Goldsmith after also being reprinted by M. A. Donohue. The
dust jacket/book cover is the same as the earlier Donohue publication.
The jacket cover is the same as the pictorial pictures (different for
each book) that Altemus used. The only difference is the red
horizontal stripe at the top and bottom of the jacket.
The Goldsmith editions have no illustrations.
The Altemus series only had three volumes (See: http://henryaltemus.com/series/series24.htm).
When Donohue reprinted the series in 1934, it added the fourth title.
Goldsmith included all four books in its series.

the top and bottom of the jacket.
