This three book series which was written by Wayne Whipple has four formats. The first format has a line drawn book appropriate illustration on the front cover and a matching dust jacket. I have seen variant dust jackets for each book title. The actual pictures on the jackets are the same but the colors are different. The later jacket has brown coloring where the earlier ones have green. For more information see American History Makers Series.
