This three book series (http://henryaltemus.com/series/series138.htm) was first published in 1915. The 9.25 x 7 books are coloring books. Each page has a colored illustration opposite the same line drawn picture which has yet to be colored. All of the pictures come from a book with the same title which was published originally as part of the Wee Books for Wee Folks Series.

John R. Neill (of the Wizard of Oz fame) illustrated the pictures.
