Q: Hello! I have a copy of “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll, and I have looked through your website trying to find out what edition it is and how much it is worth, but I can not find it. It says “Philadelphia Henry Altemus Company” on the front page. And there is an inscription that says “To Bessie from Mother Dec 25, 1903”. If you could help me that would be wonderful!
A: Your book is part of the Beauxarts Series and was published in 1902.
It originally came within a labeled box. A representative box is shown below.
There is no fixed value for this book. $10-20 would be reasonable.
