Many of the books of this series had subtle cover color changes over the course of the years. Format 2 of the Young People’s Library http://henryaltemus.com/series/series202F2.htm was published between 1898 and 1902. This new “Adventures in Toyland” which is being added to the database today has gold gilt lettering on the cover. Otherwise it is identical to the other “Adventures in Toyland” already in the database which has silver gilt lettering. Both books have green endpapers with ads that have 16 pages ending with Ellis’s Young People’s Histories (1901).
