As I have mentioned before, with very few exceptions all of the books that Altemus published after 1889 came with a dust jacket or within a box. Here is an example of a slide-in box that housed books that made up Format 5 of the Devotional Series. As was also frequently the case, books that were boxed came with a flimsy tissue like jacket.
