The ooze calf editions of this book were published between 1902-1909. They were published with a labeled box.

I have seen two different ooze calf editions of this title. One is 7.5 x 5 and the other is 8.25 x 6. The later book is green and shown with its box below.

Both books have Henry Altemus Company on the title page with the earlier 1898 in Roman Numerals. Apparently Altemus never removed the earlier date from the later post-1900 Henry Altemus Company books.

The earlier (smaller) book has four illustrations while the later (larger) book has five illustrations. This corresponds to the hardcover editions which feature the smaller earlier books and the larger later books.
